What yourahara is

yourahara is a personalised nutrition service that uses AI to generate daily meal plans and score your real-world eating. It includes meal plan generation based on your pantry, goals, and preferences, and a food journal (My Plate) where you log daily meals, receive nutrition scores, and track progress over time. By using yourahara you agree to these terms.

Allergen responsibility

yourahara uses your stated allergen and dietary preferences to filter meal suggestions, but we cannot guarantee that every suggested meal is free from cross-contamination or undisclosed ingredients. You are solely responsible for verifying the safety of any meal before consuming it, particularly if you have a severe allergy or food intolerance.

Account and content

• You must be 16 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not use yourahara for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these terms.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
• Generated meal plans and food journal scores are for your personal use only — you may not resell or redistribute them.
• You retain ownership of any pantry photos, food photos, and personal data you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process this data solely to deliver your meal plans, scores, and personalised features.
• Food photos submitted via the My Plate camera scan are processed by AI and deleted immediately after identification. They are not stored or used for any other purpose.
• Body metrics you provide (weight, height, age, gender) are used solely to personalise your calorie and macro targets. They are never shared with third parties.

Food journal and scoring

My Plate meal scores and nutrition estimates are AI-generated and intended as general guidance only. They are not a clinical assessment of your diet and should not be used as a substitute for advice from a qualified dietitian or medical professional. Score accuracy depends on the detail of your meal descriptions — vague logs will receive lower scores to reflect estimation uncertainty.

Friends' Plate & Gangs (community)

• You control what you share. Your food journal is private by default; it becomes visible to your connections or gang members only when you choose to share a day. Don't share anything you wouldn't want those people to see.
• Your handle is public. Pick one that isn't misleading or offensive, and don't impersonate anyone. We may reclaim, rename, or suspend handles that impersonate, infringe, or otherwise violate these terms.
• Be respectful. No harassment, abuse, or spam (including repeated connection or gang invites), and no collecting, scraping, or redistributing other users' data.
• Gangs. A gang leader chooses who to invite; members join only by accepting and thereby consent to sharing their shared plates with that gang. Members may leave, and leaders may remove members or delete a gang, at any time.
• We may remove content, handles, connections, or gangs — and suspend accounts — that breach these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, yourahara and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to adverse health outcomes, allergen reactions, or reliance on AI-generated nutritional information. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
